Together Vase
This is one of my two submissions to the 2020 Samsung x Dezeen EcoPackaging Competition, "a global contest that challenges contestants to design innovative new objects for the home that can be made by repurposing cardboard packaging." Beyond making an object that fits into and improves the user's lifestyle, I enjoyed challenging myself to create an object that explores and pushes the bounds of its own materiality. A vase made out of cardboard? Why not? Interesting outcomes can be found within contradictions.
